Contract or part-time remote work building AI automations that run in production: LLMs (Claude, OpenAI) connected to real business systems via APIs, webhooks, n8n and RAG, with monitoring and human approval. I want to deepen my expertise in AI evaluation, larger integrations and agent systems alongside strong engineering teams. Clearly scoped projects and async work.

AI automation & integration engineer: n8n, LLM agents, RAG, APIs.
TanzaniaWhat I'm looking for
I connect AI to the systems a business already runs on, and engineer it to be reliable enough to trust with real customers, data and money.
Most automations work in a demo and break in production: duplicate records, silent failures, AI answers nobody checked. I build the other kind: n8n orchestration, APIs and webhooks, Claude/OpenAI, and PostgreSQL + pgvector for RAG, with monitoring, retries, cost limits and human approval built in.
Recent work: a safety-management SaaS in production with aviation-industry users (database-enforced data separation, audit trail, cost-capped AI assistant); a bilingual WhatsApp sales agent that checks every price against the live catalogue before replying (demo build); and an AI phone agent that files nothing until the caller confirms (working prototype).
Computer engineer (BSc, University of Dar es Salaam), based in Tanzania (UTC+3), English and Kiswahili. Open to contract and part-time remote work, async-first.
