What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach secondary English in a supportive school community. I want to design engaging lessons, build strong student relationships, and provide accommodations so every learner can succeed and grow.

I’m a hardworking, compassionate educator with a positive attitude toward learning, reflected in the way I teach. I model strong behavior through self-example and work to create a supportive classroom culture for students.

I’ve taught High School English and designed lesson plans with daily modifications, using effective classroom management to keep learning on track. I’ve built relationships with students, teachers, and administrators to create a “community of care,” and I develop accommodations to support student learning.

Before my current role, I gained varied classroom experience through substitute teaching and served as an ARC Tutor/Teaching Assistant while completing my education. I implemented provided lesson plans, supported students with understanding and daily work, and graded open prompt responses while assessing academic progress.

My approach is grounded in continuous growth: I’m dedicated to ongoing education and training so I can better serve students, school, and community. I also developed year-long English curriculum for grades 9–12 and support students in drafting, writing, and editing academic essays.
