I've led English and Global Perspectives departments at British international schools in Cairo, raising teaching standards, writing attainment, and curriculum outcomes across KS1–KS5.

At The British Modern School and The British School in Rehab, I developed strategic plans, policies, handbooks, CPD, appraisals, and departmental events. I also modelled teaching, led observations and walk-ins, supported recruitment, and used drama to strengthen writing.

I've taught English, literature, EAL, Business English, and study skills in Egypt, Oman, Dubai, and the UK. I create supportive, stimulating classrooms where students build critical thinking, creativity, and lifelong curiosity.
