Asmaa Hamza
@asmaahamza
Biomedical and software engineer focused on AI, medical imaging, and digital twin solutions.
What I'm looking for
I am a biomedical and software engineer with hands-on experience building AI-driven medical and signal-processing applications, and developing a digital twin for personalized Type-1 diabetes care. My academic training from Cairo University spans software engineering, embedded systems, image processing, and bioinformatics, and I maintain an active interest in generative AI, computer vision, and medical imaging.
I have interned as a software engineer working on Python AI and enterprise GPT projects, developed mobile and web applications using Node.js, MongoDB, and React, and implemented signal-processing and OCR/AI tools (YOLOv5, LangChain, Redis, TensorFlow). My Siemens graduation project and a paper accepted at DVCon Munich 2025 exemplify my focus on translating research into clinical-grade solutions.
I contribute to multidisciplinary teams, mentor student researchers, and seek roles where I can apply deep learning, digital-twin systems, and biomedical signal-processing expertise to improve patient outcomes and product innovation.
