Maryam Ateef

I'm pursuing a master's degree in Biomedical Engineering at Cairo University, where I'm preparing a thesis proposal focused on medical imaging and AI applications.

For my skin cancer classification project, I built and trained a CNN model to classify seven types of skin cancer from dermatoscopy images. I also developed a web interface for image uploads and automated diagnostic output.

In a separate project, I designed a deep convolutional neural network to detect COVID-19 from chest X-ray images. I preprocessed radiological image data and optimized the model architecture for improved accuracy.

My studies and projects have given me experience with Python, computer vision, and medical image processing, alongside coursework in electronics, signal processing, and medical instrumentation.
