At Byzantion, I run real-time ingestion, indexing, and analytics for multi-terabyte on-chain data across eight blockchains. My scope grew from metadata scraping to ownership of the entire NFT indexing line, including integrations for IOTA and Supra.
I migrated roughly 5 TB of streaming data from Cloud SQL to self-hosted ClickHouse, reducing storage by about 90% on the largest chain and cutting costs to roughly a third. I also redesigned token metadata scraping, backfilled 60M+ Base tokens, and built resilient streamers with provider fallbacks, consistency checks, and lag alerting.
Before blockchain infrastructure, I owned and evolved banking middleware used by around 50 product teams and processing 100M+ client requests. I reduced release time by about 80%, built Spring Boot starters that cut teams' time to market by 50%, and use AI agents for implementation while retaining engineering decisions, review, and test-based verification.
