I built and maintain a home media server from repurposed computer hardware, installing and configuring Jellyfin and troubleshooting software, connectivity, and configuration issues. This hands-on work has helped me develop practical Linux, networking, and server administration skills.
At Sober Social, Doncaster, I planned and facilitated groups covering IT, cybersecurity, music, and community topics. I created activities and workshop materials, and delivered sessions for groups ranging from around 15 people to events involving up to approximately 500 participants.
I also helped older adults learn basic computer and internet skills as a Community IT Tutor. I hold an NCFE Level 2 Certificate in the Principles of Cybersecurity and am developing my networking knowledge through Cisco Networking Academy - Network Basics and practical SOC training through TryHackMe SOC Level 1.
