I’m Asang Tamgadge, a Frontend and Mobile Engineer with over 4 years of experience building production applications using React Native, React, Next.js, and TypeScript.

What motivates me most about software development is seeing something go from an idea on a whiteboard to a feature that real people use every day. Over the last few years, I've had the opportunity to work on products across fintech, e-commerce, and platform businesses, collaborating with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ship features that directly impact users.

Currently, I work remotely with a UK-based fintech startup where I contribute to a React Native application used by thousands of users. My responsibilities go beyond writing code—I participate in architecture discussions, optimize performance, investigate production issues, integrate APIs, and help ensure features are delivered reliably across iOS and Android. One of the projects I'm most proud of involved improving the performance of complex data-heavy screens by reducing unnecessary re-renders and restructuring state management, resulting in a noticeably smoother user experience.

Earlier in my career, I worked on a grocery delivery platform built with Next.js and React Native, as well as several web applications and admin dashboards. These experiences taught me how to balance technical quality with business needs, move quickly in startup environments, and take ownership of my work from development through production release.

Beyond my professional work, I enjoy building side projects and exploring new technologies. Recently, I've been working on an Event Management platform built with Next.js, where I experiment with modern frontend patterns, scalable architecture, and user experience improvements.

I'm looking for a team where I can continue growing as an engineer, contribute meaningful work, and collaborate with people who care deeply about building great products. I bring strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively in remote environments.
