What I'm looking for
I am a dedicated psychology student at Rice University, where I have honed my skills in mental health advocacy and community engagement. With a GPA of 3.97 and honors such as Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa, I have consistently demonstrated my commitment to academic excellence and service. My experience as a Student Intern at the Rice University Wellbeing Center allowed me to develop culturally responsive mental health curricula and lead outreach campaigns that significantly improved access to mental health resources for over 10,000 university affiliates.
In addition to my internship, I have taken on leadership roles as a Lead Teaching Assistant in microbiology and biochemistry, where I mentored students and facilitated their understanding of complex subjects. My work as a Medical Assistant at Holistic Innovative Interventional Pain Associates further solidified my ability to communicate effectively with patients and coordinate care logistics. I am passionate about promoting mental health awareness and have led initiatives that engage hundreds of students in meaningful conversations about mental health.
