At University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez Campus, I studied fungi isolate sensitivity to three commercial fungicides using conidia germination and amended media assays. I also conducted DNA extraction, gel electrophoresis, PCR, and data analysis.
As an assistant in the Pollinator Garden, I applied plant maintenance techniques and identified over 30 plant varieties using my knowledge, literary resources, and expert consultations. I also delivered educational talks for middle and high school students.
