At WashU Office of Sustainability, I survey campus living collections and maintain database records for more than 150 trees and shrubs. I also lead public tours on tree identification, plant biology, and threatened species conservation.
At Olsen Plant Lab – WashU Department of Biology, I conducted greenhouse plant phenotyping and crop research for crop weed mimicry. I analyzed data with ImageJ and Excel and performed DNA extractions and PCR amplification for more than 100 plant samples.
At Fifth Taste Foods, I quantified environmental footprint metrics for plant-based options and turned agricultural impact data into graphics and charts. Earlier, I educated visitors at Missouri Botanical Garden and supported organic crop care and soil management with WWOOF.
