I'm a Senior QA Automation Engineer / SDET with about 7 years of experience, based in Chișinău, Moldova, working remotely with EU companies. Most of my work has been building test infrastructure from scratch rather than maintaining something that already existed.

At Adverity, an Austrian marketing data SaaS company, I built and owned a Cypress/TypeScript E2E suite of over 2,000 tests, parallelized on Argo Workflows on Kubernetes. That cut release testing from roughly 3 days to 5 hours, across four monthly releases. I also owned quality for two LLM-facing systems there: an MCP connector exposing 7 platform API tools, where my focus was authorization scope validation and confirming the connector refused requests for data outside a user's permissions, and a natural language interface for querying the data warehouse, validated through golden-output suites and guardrail checks. Separately I built an agent that reads JIRA tickets, generates and self-corrects Cypress feature files, and opens PRs. Test analysts on the team use it.

Before Adverity I was at Endava on an Open Banking platform, working in Java and Selenium.

My primary automation stack is Cypress and TypeScript. I've built a full Playwright/TypeScript framework recently and I'm comfortable there, though my production depth is in Cypress. I also work across API testing, CI/CD pipelines, and Kubernetes.

What I'm looking for: remote SDET or quality engineering roles with EU companies, ideally something AI-adjacent. Testing LLM and agent systems is the part of the job I find most interesting right now, mostly because the usual assertions don't apply and you have to think harder about what "correct" even means. I contract on a B2B basis through my own Moldovan entity and have four years of cross-border invoicing with an Austrian company, so the paperwork side is well established.

Outside of work I ride motorcycles and plan long multi-country trips. This July I rode the Alps two-up with luggage, covering Stelvio, Gavia, Sella Ronda, and Grossglockner.
