At XPENG Motors, I lead Urban XNGP development for new G6/G7 models using a camera-only, HD-map-free end-to-end deep-learning architecture. I own feature validation, vehicle-level issue resolution, system planning, and chassis actuator integration and calibration.
Previously at BYD, I fully owned the first City NOA system across 5R10V and 5R1V sensor configurations, from system design and feature development through vehicle calibration, testing, model adoption, and mass-production issue resolution. I also developed CAN communication matrices, DBC files, and EPS/IPB interfaces using CANoe and CANape.
My vehicle R&D experience also includes electrification systems at XPENG and hybrid powertrain development at GAC Research Institute, covering charging, thermal management, driveability, energy efficiency, and HEV/PHEV program delivery. Earlier roles with Daimler and Volkswagen gave me experience in timing, cost, quality, production planning, and cross-functional supplier coordination.
I bring automotive engineering training from TU Braunschweig, German C1 and fluent English, plus practical interests in Python data modeling, financial analysis, AI tooling, and quantitative trading research.
