Arohi Mhatre

I’m a biomedical engineer focused on delivering reliable healthcare technology—backed by my Masters in Biomedicine and hands-on experience in clinical environments. I support biomedical equipment safety and performance, from daily checks to inventory control for essential tools in high-impact departments.

In my Biomedical Engineer experience, I assisted with collecting samples, conducting experiments, and analyzing research data under supervision. I also tracked biomedical equipment inventory, ordered replacement parts, and managed consumables across ICU and OT, while staying current through training sessions with Medtronics and Siemens Healthcare.

I bring a data-science mindset to biomedical challenges, especially through my project work. My Anemia Detector uses Python and TensorFlow with Keras to forecast likelihood and severity using blood test and eye-image inputs, and I’ve built additional ML models such as plant disease prediction and a baby incubator monitoring/control concept. I thrive where practical biomedical engineering meets thoughtful, tool-driven problem solving.
