My background as a caregiver and medication aide gave me hands-on experience documenting resident care, entering information into records, maintaining accurate documentation, and keeping resident charts organized. This experience helped me develop attention to detail, responsibility, organization, and an understanding of the importance of accurate and confidential recordkeeping.

As a medication aide, I used documentation and data-entry processes to record relevant medication-related information and maintain resident records according to workplace procedures. My caregiving experience also involved documenting residents’ needs and care-related information.
