What I'm looking for

I’m looking to keep building backend systems on AWS—using event-driven microservices, reliable CI/CD, and infrastructure automation—while taking on work that improves data freshness, performance, and operational consistency.

I build and improve UHG’s Subrogation web platform, SubroPoint, for approving and recovering healthcare insurance settlement claims—hosted on AWS.

I automated multi-environment infrastructure provisioning with Terraform and GitHub Actions CI/CD, cutting setup time by 70%, and standardized virtual server provisioning using Golden Images, reducing deployment time by 80% and removing manual configuration.

I also worked on CDC-based near real-time synchronization using database binary logs to keep business metrics up to date, plus database performance improvements like routing read-only API calls to an AWS RDS read replica and deploying Liquibase-managed, version-controlled schema changes.

On the application side, I’ve containerized a Spring Boot service with AWS ECS and Docker, used NoSQL to reduce database cost, and supported AI-assisted claims inclusion/exclusion suggestions to reduce downstream manual work.
