I’m looking for a Backend Engineer role where I can build fault-tolerant Java microservices, deliver low-latency REST APIs, and scale secure, high-throughput data platforms with cloud-ready architecture.

I’m a Software Engineer (Backend) with 3.5 years of experience architecting, building, and scaling enterprise-grade Java microservices for backup, restore, and data-protection platforms. I specialize in Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, JDBC, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL, and I enjoy turning complex infrastructure integrations into reliable, cloud-ready services.

At OpenText, I engineered high-throughput RESTful APIs for VM restore, inventory management, and job scheduling, optimizing PostgreSQL data layers to cut query latency by ~50%. I also designed malware-scanning restore pipelines for backed-up VMware VMs using Windows Defender, orchestrated via Java Spring Boot microservices and REST-based job controllers, with parallel execution and compliance-ready reporting.

Before that, at Microfocus, I integrated SAP HANA using JDBC and Spring Data, migrated and normalized data (TXT → JSON) with Jackson, and improved resilience through query tuning, ORM optimization, and service-level error handling.
