I am an Information Technology Engineer with professional experience in networking, telecommunications, ISP operations, and IT infrastructure management. I graduated in December 2024 and have been developing my technical career since 2020, combining hands-on experience with continuous learning.
Currently, I work in the Networking area at FiberGO, an Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Ecuador, where I participate in the administration, implementation, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network infrastructure and services.
My experience includes working with MikroTik and Huawei equipment, FTTH and GPON technologies, OLT/ONT provisioning, PPPoE, NAT, VLANs, QinQ, IP routing, and backbone infrastructure. I also have practical exposure to BGP and OSPF routing protocols through configuration, troubleshooting, and network implementation tasks.
Throughout my career, I have participated in network deployments and infrastructure operations in Ecuador, as well as supporting remote operations in Costa Rica and Panama. These experiences have helped me develop problem-solving skills, operational independence, and the ability to work with distributed technical teams.
I also have experience with network monitoring and infrastructure management tools such as Zabbix, Grafana, GLPI, NetBox, Uptime Kuma, Graylog, Proxmox, and Linux servers. I have worked with SNMP monitoring, system administration, DNS services, virtualization, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
Beyond traditional networking, I am particularly interested in network automation, Python, APIs, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence. I enjoy exploring new technologies and finding ways to improve operational efficiency through automation and better infrastructure management.
My main career interests are Network Engineering, ISP Operations, NOC Engineering, IT Infrastructure, Systems Administration, and Technical Operations. I am looking for opportunities where I can contribute my practical experience, take on new technical challenges, and continue growing professionally within an international technology team.
