Aspiring actuary with strong analytical and data visualization skills.
What I'm looking for
I am an aspiring actuary with a double major in Actuarial Science and Mathematics from Ohio State University, where I graduated in May 2025. My academic journey has been marked by a commitment to excellence, as evidenced by my GPA of 3.3. I have successfully passed two actuarial exams, Exam P and Exam FM, and I am preparing for MAS 1 in December 2025. My education has equipped me with a solid foundation in statistical analysis and risk assessment.
During my internship at Cincinnati Financial Corporation, I investigated innovative methods for predicting total umbrella losses, demonstrating my ability to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges. I utilized tools such as SAS and SQL for data querying and Excel for analysis, creating visualizations that informed leadership about significant trends. My experience as a Math Teaching Assistant further honed my communication skills, as I designed engaging lesson plans and mentored students in effective problem-solving strategies.
In addition to my academic and professional experiences, I have actively participated in extracurricular activities, achieving first place in the External Data Usage category at the ASA Data Fest 2023 and third place in the Quantitative Finance Competition 2024. These experiences have not only enhanced my analytical skills but also fostered my ability to work collaboratively in team settings.
