At HSBC, I’m migrating core banking APIs from legacy RPGLE on IBM i to Spring Boot microservices backed by PostgreSQL. As one of six engineers on Absolute Core, I learned RPGLE to trace undocumented business rules, address logic gaps missed by conversion tooling, and preserve functional parity for existing consumers.
Previously, on CBIL, I designed and productionized approximately 50 Spring Boot REST APIs, from functional requirements through UAT and production deployment. I also supported a 200+ microservice estate, resolved a production capacity incident, and built Jenkins pipelines that reduced release cycle time from hours to minutes.
