What I'm looking for

I seek leadership roles where I can scale engineering teams and platforms, improve observability and reliability, mentor engineers, and deliver high-impact fintech or ride-hailing products.

I am an engineering leader with hands-on experience building scalable backend and event-driven platforms for ride-hailing, fintech and retail across MENA and Pakistan.

At SadaPay I built an end-to-end invoicing platform that peaked at $1.5M+ monthly revenue, led org-wide engineering influence across 30+ engineers, and established L2 support, observability and incident response practices.

Previously at Careem I served as Staff Software Engineer driving backend optimizations, incentive features and observability improvements; at Creative Chaos and GfK-Etilize I contributed to large-scale data pipelines, search analytics on multi-terabyte catalogs, and hybrid tech-lead responsibilities.

I bring strong expertise in distributed systems, Kafka and Flink, Java/Kotlin and Spring ecosystems, DevOps and security alignment, and I emphasize mentorship, hiring and cross-functional collaboration to scale teams and systems.
