What I'm looking for

I'm looking to build and improve production backend or AI/RAG systems, with ownership of reliability, performance, incident resolution, and cross-service engineering work.

At EPAM, I build and maintain production legal AI/RAG services that retrieve legal documents, case law, legislation, and external-source information for downstream LLM services.

I lead a four-person RAG team, reviewing code, investigating incidents, and coordinating fixes across DevOps, AI/ML, product, and service teams. I improved response times by approximately 8 seconds by moving legal evaluation earlier in the pipeline and by approximately 4 seconds by removing redundant intent resolution.

Previously at Panoply by SQream, I designed 12–14 production data connectors and built a configurable FlexConnector for customer API integrations. I worked on OAuth, pagination, rate limits, retries, asynchronous retrieval, file processing, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and datasets exceeding 100M rows.

I also developed Django web applications and REST APIs at VEON Tech. Across my work, I focus on tracing production issues to root causes, improving reliability through testing and refactoring, and building practical backend systems with Python, FastAPI, AWS, Redis, Celery, and Docker.
