At Nubank, I lead delivery of credit and payment systems in Clojure and AWS. For a credit-limit services modernization, I validated more than 95M transactions at a 12% pilot rollout stage with a 0.05% mismatch rate and no observed latency degradation.
I also implemented post-purchase financing and a customer-controlled opt-out for emergency credit-limit offers. The opt-out supported a product ecosystem with 10.6M customers through staged rollout without requiring migration or backfill.
For NuPay, I automated total-refund flows and designed proportional partial-refund processing, reducing the customer-support contact rate by 3%. I also diagnosed and resolved documented production incidents across payment flows.
Before Nubank, I worked on Java backend and distributed systems at Avenue Code, NTT DATA Europe & LATAM, APECATUS, and Idealogic Software. My work included optimizing microservices, building real-time transaction categorization, and developing enterprise systems; I’ve also built an AI-assisted engineering operations platform using Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, and LangGraph.
