At Jolt Energy, I developed a low-fluorinated dual-salt electrolyte in bio-based γ-valerolactone for sodium-ion batteries. It delivered about 87% capacity retention after 100 cycles in half-cells and about 80% after 200 cycles in full cells.
I also synthesized and polymerized a patented phenothiazine-type scaffold monomer, and used post-mortem XPS alongside SEM/EDX to investigate electrode interphases and electrolyte decomposition.
At the University of Oregon, I built Python pipelines to train and benchmark machine-learning models on electrolyzer polarization data, reaching R² values up to 0.978. My graduate research also examined oxygen redox and lattice oxygen loss in lithium-rich layered oxide cathodes.
Earlier, I researched electrocatalysts and supercapacitor materials at Pondicherry University and CSIR-Central Electrochemical Research Institute. My work included published research papers and studies of electrode performance using electrochemical and materials characterization methods.
