Amsheer WaBasheer

I am a PhD-trained applied mathematician and researcher with a focus on stochastic modeling, dynamic optimization, and age-of-information in cognitive radio and IoT networks. My work combines Lyapunov optimization, Markov decision processes and reinforcement learning to design scheduling and power-control policies for time-sensitive systems.

I held a research year at Kyushu University and completed a PhD at E-JUST, producing peer-reviewed publications in Performance Evaluation, Ad Hoc Networks and IEEE VTC, and contributing to a funded STDF project. I have experience developing analytical queueing models and minimizing packet drop and AoI under energy and timely-throughput constraints.

Alongside research I teach probability, calculus, numerical analysis and reinforcement learning; I also create online training content and have experience in educational content development and quality assurance. I bring strong programming skills (MATLAB, Python), documentation (LaTeX) and practical networking knowledge to collaborative research and teaching roles.
