Amos Bunde

I am a Senior Data Engineer and Architect with a strong background in data management and analytics. I have extensive experience in building high-quality structured data models and implementing data governance practices to enhance business applications and enable informed decision-making. In my current role at Aga Khan University, I collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and troubleshoot complex technical data problems, resulting in streamlined data management processes. I have also led cross-functional teams in various development projects and implemented robust big data architectures using Azure Synapse Analytics.

During my tenure at ZUBALE, I designed efficient data processing pipelines and architectures on Google Cloud's BigQuery and BigTable platforms. I introduced DataOps practices to improve pipeline deployment time and enhance operational efficiency. At COPIA, I designed and supported data warehouse systems, implemented data governance strategies, and translated complex business requirements into actionable specifications for report and dashboard implementation. As a Senior Business Intelligence and Analytics Consultant at ZEALTECH Data Solutions, I provided insights and resolved technical problems to enhance data analytics capabilities.

In addition to my professional experience, I hold a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with Computing and I am currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Computing and Information Systems. I am certified in Software Engineering and have expertise in AWS Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite, and data engineering and analytics on GCP. I am passionate about leveraging my technical skills and experience to drive data-driven decision-making and contribute to the success of organizations.
