Amber Workman
@amberworkman
Doctoral-level Hispanic studies instructor and scholar specializing in Spanish language, literature, and curriculum design.
What I'm looking for
I am a Ph.D.-trained Hispanic languages and literatures scholar and experienced university instructor who designs and teaches Spanish language, Hispanic literature, and cultural studies courses at undergraduate and graduate levels. I have a long record of curriculum development, LMS course design, editorial leadership (founding editor-in-chief of a bilingual literary journal), and peer-reviewed publications in literary studies.
My work blends classroom teaching, scholarly research, and editorial management: I have managed peer-review processes, translated scholarly materials, published journal articles and book chapters, and secured competitive fellowships. I seek roles where I can continue teaching, mentoring students, developing curriculum, and producing scholarship that connects Latin American and Hispanic literary studies with broader interdisciplinary audiences.
