Aliyah Atkinson

I’m a Doctor of Pharmacy student and Pharmacy Intern where I support day-to-day pharmacy operations while prioritizing patient safety. In my current role, I handle prescription-related data entry and filling, assist patients at the register, and provide medication counseling that reinforces drug adherence.

I also take on patient-facing clinical responsibilities, including administering vaccines, managing medication inventory, and interviewing patients to complete drug adherence. Alongside that, I bring EMR system experience and accuracy-driven documentation habits to every task.

Before pharmacy, I developed strong coordination and service skills as a PatientAccess Representative, handling scheduling, medical billing, and calendar management while greeting patients and responding via email, phone, and fax. I’m now building toward a future clinical pharmacy path by pairing hands-on experience with ongoing professional involvement and continuous training.
