What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a pharmacy role where I can grow clinically while delivering safe, accurate dispensing and nonsterile compounding. I want a team that values patient counseling, compliance (HIPAA/USP), and continuous improvement in workflow and documentation.

I’m a pharmacy intern working toward my Doctorate of Pharmacy, with hands-on experience as a pharmacy technician and pharmacy assistant across multiple retail settings. I focus on getting prescriptions right the first time—through careful preparation, precise documentation, and patient-centered communication.

In nonsterile compounding, I prepared prescription compounds for both hazardous and nonhazardous drugs and calculated ingredient amounts for individual orders. I coordinated with pharmacists to ensure formulas were accurate and met quality standards, and I maintained compounding compliance by following USP <79 5 > and USP < 800 > during routine cleaning and inventory reviews.

From insurance adjudication to dispensing support, I’ve handled the full flow of prescription work: accepting, typing, and billing new and recurring orders; coordinating prescription transfers; and contacting insurance and doctors to resolve issues. I also worked with ScriptPro SP200 for ongoing maintenance and inventory counts, and prepared Dispill multi-dose packages for patients with multiple medications.

During PY1 community pharmacy IPPE at Safeway, I typed and billed prescriptions from hardcopy, fax, electronic, and phone/voicemail sources, counseled patients on new medications with the supervising pharmacist, and performed MTMs and CMRs over the phone with documentation. I bring a safety-first mindset backed by HIPAA, CPR/BLS, and immunization training, and I’m eager to continue building my clinical confidence and impact.
