At Greater Cleveland Food Bank, I direct community health and research work focused on food and economic security and health outcomes. I developed programs including medically tailored meals, medically tailored groceries, produce prescriptions, and health care referral programs.
I serve as Principal Investigator for two IRB-approved food security and health equity research projects, including Nourishing Beginnings and Nourishing Tomorrow, which received a $3.8M NIH R01. I also develop a scalable intervention framework that is expanding statewide.
My work includes building cross-sector partnerships and leading research, outcomes, and evaluation efforts. I’ve generated over $1M in funding for Food as Medicine and research activities, and I lead the organization’s work with NIH and CDC.
Earlier, I was President of Eat Happy, LLC, where I developed consulting services focused on diet quality, nutrition knowledge, and health outcomes. I also taught economics of policy analysis as an adjunct faculty member at Cleveland State University’s Levin School of Urban Policy.
