Alisha Khatri

I'm a final year Computer Science and IT student in Nepal with a strong interest in machine learning and the practical side of AI not just building models, but understanding how they fail, how data quality shapes their behavior, and how to make them more reliable. I've spent the last couple of years working on projects across different domains: predicting crime patterns using clustering and classification techniques, applying transfer learning to help identify plant diseases from images, and building small analytics and recommendation tools that turn raw data into something people can actually use and understand.

I enjoy the less glamorous parts of AI work too: cleaning messy datasets, spotting inconsistencies, and making sure the foundations are solid before any model touches the data. That instinct carries over into my day-to-day work managing a live e-commerce business, where I've spent over two years handling analytics, inventory, and customer data for a real, operating store. It's taught me to be precise, accountable, and comfortable making decisions independently.

I'm now looking to bring that same attention to detail into AI training and data annotation work. I like the idea of being part of the process that shapes how AI systems reason and respond reviewing outputs, spotting errors, and helping refine quality at scale. I work well remotely, stay organized without close supervision, and take ownership of the accuracy and consistency of whatever I'm working on.
