Ali AbdAlmageed

I like to describe myself as an experienced AI/ML Engineer with a strong background in developing and deploying scalable machine learning models and AI systems. I’m proficient in data preprocessing, model training, and performance optimization, using Python along with TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.

I’m especially drawn to solving complex problems with a focus on natural language processing, computer vision, and predictive analytics. I’ve worked on deep learning solutions (including convolutional neural networks) and on training and fine-tuning LLMs, while keeping usability and real-world integration in mind.

For my master’s dissertation, I researched and developed an ML model to forecast/track COVID-19 by detecting it from medical imaging data like chest X-rays. I also developed an income predicting AI/ML model using Python and data science/analytics, and I’m currently designing and deploying an LLM-powered AI assistant (MoodEaser) to support therapists with session summarisation, note generation, and workflow automation.
