I am looking for a role that allows me to lead animal care teams and contribute to wildlife conservation efforts.

I am an accomplished animal care supervisor with over 20 years of experience in managing diverse avian collections across various prestigious zoos and aquariums. My journey began as a zookeeper, where I honed my skills in animal husbandry and training. Over the years, I have taken on leadership roles, including my current position at Reid Park Zoo, where I manage an expanding avian collection and ensure compliance with USDA and AZA standards.

Throughout my career, I have demonstrated a commitment to animal welfare and staff development. I created the Bird Team Internship Program at Brookfield Zoo and have been actively involved in research projects that enhance our understanding of avian species. My dedication to education and mentorship has been recognized through various awards, including the Zoo New England Employee of the Year. I am passionate about fostering a collaborative environment that prioritizes high standards of animal care and conservation.
