Alexandria Yee

I’m a psychology graduate who brings strong empathy, communication, and advocacy to hands-on work with adults with autism. I’m committed to making a meaningful impact by using compassionate, evidence-based practices that support real growth.

In my most recent role as a Direct Support Professional, I facilitated community integration programs to promote social inclusion and independence. I developed individualized plans, collaborated with community organizations, and helped clients access healthcare, education, employment, and recreational opportunities.

I also focused on day-to-day support that builds lasting confidence and relationships—providing ongoing guidance, implementing strategies to enhance communication skills through group activities and workshops, and supporting clients in navigating social interactions.

Beyond direct support, I’ve gained experience in structured service environments through roles as a server and bartender/manager, strengthening customer service, problem solving, and leadership. I’m ready to continue advancing mental health care through attentive observation, crisis-aware support, and respectful, informed consent practices.
