Alexandria Jackson
@alexandriajackson1
Curriculum Coordinator and educator who builds inquiry-based, standards-aligned learning and coaches teachers to grow.
What I'm looking for
I’m a Curriculum Coordinator with extensive classroom and leadership experience, committed to implementing inquiry-based learning and explorative strategies that keep students engaged, curious, and growing. I create student-centered environments using flexible seating, differentiation, morning meetings, and thoughtful learning routines.
In my current role, I develop and implement curriculum frameworks aligned with educational standards, collaborate with faculty to refine instructional strategies, and analyze student performance data to guide curriculum revisions. I also conduct training sessions for educators, use feedback loops to evaluate program effectiveness, and mentor teachers to strengthen school culture.
Across prior homeroom teaching roles in diverse settings, I delivered instruction using Common Core and EL Education approaches, integrated technology and the flipped classroom method, and supported learners through Universal Design Learning principles and culturally responsive teaching. I’ve led professional development, mentored new teachers, and supported intervention planning through formative and summative assessment practices.
