At CDC, I own AtlasPlus, a public health data product, end to end, from its MySQL database to its React interface. I’m leading its ground-up refactor and led its migration from on-prem servers to Azure.
I also led the development team on the CDC.gov COVID-19 Data Tracker and turned complex public health data sets into public-facing visualizations and internal tracking tools for government teams.
At Octane5, I built BrandComply, the licensing platform Ford and John Deere ran their licensed products through, across its Python and Django back end, MySQL data, and UI. I also built the BC Mobile iPhone app and D3 reporting dashboards, and designed product UI for client work including Nike, Coca-Cola and Mattel.
Across my work, whether I write code by hand or with AI assistance, I use a written plan, continuous tests, code review, and a person who understands every line.
