I've taught introductory Japanese language and culture at Halecrest Elementary School, creating engaging lessons and activities for elementary students with different learning styles.

As a tutor at Southwestern College, I provide individualized academic support, study strategies, organization, and time-management guidance. I also led the Japanese Culture Club for three years, organizing cultural events and building an inclusive community for learners at every proficiency level.

My youth development work at the YMCA, along with coaching soccer, flag football, cross country, and basketball, has strengthened my ability to mentor students and foster positive relationships with families and staff.
