What I'm looking for

I’m looking to teach ESL in a collaborative school where I can design engaging lessons, support student growth, and build a calm, positive classroom through strong behavior management and inclusive, culturally aware instruction.

I’m a language educator-in-training with classroom experience across ESL support, substitute teaching, after-school programming, and student teaching. I’ve created engaging lesson plans and adapted instruction to meet individual student needs.

In my current student teaching role, I develop lesson plans for high school students, maintain a behavior management plan under supervision, and facilitate student support measures. I focus on positive behavior management and clear classroom expectations that help students feel safe and ready to learn.

Previously, I’ve strengthened learning through attendance tracking, grading, accurate record keeping, translation support, and small group ESL discussions. I also served as an Assistant Language Teacher and ESL Paraprofessional, collaborating with teachers and families to support students’ language development.
