Albert Wilson
@albertwilson1
Biostatistics and data analysis professional focused on public health insights and rigorous statistical modeling.
What I'm looking for
I’m a biostatistics-focused professional who turns complex datasets into actionable, evidence-based decisions. In my ORISE Fellow role at the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, I used statistical and data analysis techniques to identify gaps and inconsistencies in workforce-related datasets and support improvements in data quality and workforce planning.
I also strengthen models through hands-on research and modeling work. In the University of Michigan School of Public Health Big Data Summer Institute in Biostatistics, I collaborated on a brain–computer interface project, applying lasso regression modeling to identify informative electrodes and using R for statistical analysis and data processing to support model development and interpretation.
My approach is grounded in literature reviews, clear communication, and careful documentation. I’ve delivered research findings through oral presentations with LaTeX-prepared technical slides, and I bring a fast-learning, proactive mindset built across biostatistics research, mathematics/statistics programs, and professional development.
