Alayna Hillson
@alaynahillson
I am a biomedical and computer science student focused on environmental data analysis and community conservation.
What I'm looking for
I am a biomedical and computer science major who combines hands-on environmental fieldwork with computational problem-solving.
As a Henry Hall Fellow at the National Aquarium, I conducted an air quality contrast study, presented findings at City Hall, developed a play and workbook to teach elementary students, and managed a team of three in advocacy event planning.
I led a cigarette butt disposal project that used litter data to drive an anti-littering campaign and PSA, planted 28 trees with Baltimore Tree Trust and Parks & People, and presented water-quality research at EarthEcho International's World Water Week Student Forum.
I build Java programs (including a course enrollment simulator), am proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and seek opportunities to apply research, data analysis, and community outreach skills in environmental and computational projects.
