What I'm looking for
I am an associate professor and instructional designer with a Ph.D. in Instructional Design & Technology, focused on integrating digital tools to improve learning, course design, and program evaluation. I have led large-scale initiatives—designing graduate and undergraduate courses, building the Coastal Composition Commons badge platform, and conducting numerous instructional design reviews and evaluations for Johns Hopkins University's CRRE.
My research and writing probe the ethical and psychological impacts of technology, producing books and peer-reviewed work on smartphones, design ethics, and learning technologies. I combine scholarly publishing, applied evaluation, and institutional policy work—especially around generative AI—to help organizations create effective, research-aligned educational products and practices.
