I’m looking to lead data science and AI initiatives—building geospatial predictive models, trustworthy data pipelines, and dashboards that drive environmental and operational decisions, with room to innovate and improve governance.

I’m a Data Science and Artificial Intelligence professional with over four yearsof experience leading automation projects, large-scale data analysis, and predictive modeling. I thrive at the intersection of advanced Machine Learning, deep learning, and strong data governance, turning complex datasets into operational decision support.

As Data Science Area Director at PROFEPA, I lead the technical and strategic direction for advanced environmental, territorial, and risk analysis systems. I designed and operationalized institutional environmental monitoring platforms using geospatial data, remote sensors, and predictive models for inspection, surveillance, and compliance decisions.

Previously as Head of Systems and Automation at Universidad de Durango, I built ETL pipelines in Python and Apache Airflow to consolidate academic and IoT data, enabling real-time dashboards. I also automated report generation and notifications (email and SMS), reducing monthly manual effort by 50%, and I maintained hybrid infrastructure with uptime above 99%.

I bring hands-on engineering breadth too—microservices for real-time sensor acquisition, smart contract development on the Internet Computer, and intelligent systems like a YOLOv7-based smart parking system and dashboards with alerting.
