I've investigated oligodendroglial ribosomal protein transfer to CNS axons during my doctoral research in Mainz, establishing OPC–corticospinal neuron co-cultures and validating axonal ribosome transfer in EAE spinal cord tissue. My work combines RNAscope, immunocytochemistry, extracellular-vesicle isolation, immunoblotting, qPCR, FACS, and neuronal morphology analysis.
Previously, I studied type 2 immunity and gut neuroimmunology in Berlin, working with mouse tissues, lamina propria lymphocytes, flow cytometry, imaging, and cell culture. I bring experience designing and troubleshooting experiments, analyzing complex biological data, mentoring peers on lab protocols, and communicating technical findings through high-quality scientific writing.
