At Semicolon Africa, I built backend systems with Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript, and led a team of peers to deliver a visitor management system MVP in a three-week sprint.
I integrated Paystack into a Spring Boot service, including webhook-driven payment confirmation and signature verification, and deployed it on AWS EC2. I also took part in peer code reviews and prepared a technical presentation on Spring Security.
On CareRound, I designed a nine-service backend and built and tested seven services end to end. I implemented JWT authentication and role-based access control, and moved account activation tokens out of Kafka event payloads into Redis.
Before my software engineering training, I worked as Lead Audio-Visual Systems Engineer at Live Events and Installations, leading and training technical teams and managing projects through client sign-off. My projects also include REST APIs, a food ordering system with real-time tracking, and a hotel management API with Paystack payments.
