I want to build secure, scalable backend and API systems—optimizing performance, reliability, and monitoring on AWS/GCP—while shipping practical features that impact users and product growth.

I’m a Python developer who builds secure, high-performance systems that make complex workflows simple to run. At Blackshark.Ai, I implemented role-based API access, quota enforcement, glob-based batch file filtering, and a task scheduling system to execute and monitor inference workflows reliably.

Previously, at Cactus Communications, I accelerated backend performance by moving from threading to asyncio and optimizing storage by migrating from S3 to AWS EFS. I also powered Paperpal at massive scale with Titan (PDF/DOCX/LaTeX extraction) and improved reliability and responsiveness through microservices, better observability (Grafana), and a timeout management solution using AWS SQS as a Dead Letter Queue with AWS Lambda.

I’ve delivered end-to-end features as well—reducing report generation from 1 week to 3 hours, building JWT-authenticated gateway APIs to unify microservices, and creating an AngularJS admin experience backed by Django for faster patient record updates.
