What I'm looking for

I'm looking to continue leading research that advances sustainable livestock production, methane reduction, animal health, and data-driven decision-making, while mentoring students and collaborating across animal science, nutrition, and epidemiology.

At the University of California, Davis, I conduct research on reducing methane emissions from dairy cattle, write manuscripts, and supervise interns. My work has shown that grape pomace and fermented almond hulls can reduce methane emissions while supporting milk production and quality.

Previously, I conducted statistical analyses and supervised graduate students at New Mexico State University, and supported animal health research at the University of Tennessee. My PhD research examined early diagnosis, epidemiology, and nasopharyngeal microbiome changes associated with bovine respiratory disease in stocker cattle.

I combine animal science research with SAS, R, microbiome analysis, PCR, ELISA, and field-based sample collection to address livestock health, nutrition, and sustainability questions.
