At the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, I led its first policy review of excessive asset encumbrance, quantifying depositor losses in liquidation scenarios using stress-test methods. I also benchmarked the bank’s BS13 liquidity regime against Basel LCR/NSFR.
At the Reserve Bank of Australia, I produced research on international money transfer fees that was referenced by the ACCC. I also recommended disclosing cross-border payment costs hidden in exchange-rate margins alongside fixed fees.
As Manager at EY Economic Advisory, I led a review of federal fuel legislation and embedded physical and transition costs into Lloyds Bank’s Expected Credit Loss calculations using NGFS climate models and a computable general equilibrium model.
As Senior Economic Analyst at the NSW Department of Health / NSW Treasury, I evaluated the VirtualKIDS program, which received two years of added funding worth $50m AUD. I also co-authored the European Commission’s 2017 Digital Economy and Society Index during a secondment to DG CNECT.
