What I'm looking for

I seek a role that allows me to utilize my language skills and contribute to organizational growth while continuing my professional development.

Dr. Abu Hamza is a multilingual linguist, translator, and researcher specializing in Arabic literature, Islamic intellectual heritage, and cross-cultural studies, particularly between the Arab world and Japan. He earned his Ph.D. in Arabic from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, in 2024. His doctoral dissertation, titled "Arabic and Japanese Travelogues in the 20th Century: A Socio-Cultural Study," explores how modern travel narratives in Arabic and Japanese reflect cultural identity, intellectual exchange, and historical context. He also holds an M.Phil. in Arabic from JNU, where he completed a dissertation on "Linguistic and Cultural Interaction between the Arab World and Japan: An Analytical Study," focusing on the evolution of Arab-Japanese relations through linguistic and cultural lenses.

He has authored several peer-reviewed articles published in reputed national and international journals. His book Aalmi Siyasat and Muslim Mamalik (World Politics and Muslim Countries) offers insights into contemporary Muslim geopolitics. His research articles include Al-Muslemun Fi Sri Lanka (Al Mushahid, 2017), Al-Loghah Al-Arabiyah Fi Al-Yaban (Al-Debal, 2018), and Juhud Al-Mamalakah Al-Arabiyah Al-Soudiyah Fi Nashr Al-Derasat Al-Arabiyah fi Al-Yaban (Dirasat Arabia, JNU, 2019). He has presented his research at various national and international academic forums. His paper “Geisha, Nisf Al-Umar Min Al-Neghal (Geisha, Half-Life of Pain and Struggle)” was presented at the International Seminar on Autobiographical Literature organized by the Centre for Arabic and African Studies, JNU, in 2020. He also presented “Features of Japanese Society in the Light of Al-Rihlah Al-Yabaniyah by Ahmad Al-Jarjawi” in 2022, and “Saudi Culture in the Light of Seichi Makkah Journey by Takeshi Suzuki” in 2023, both at conferences hosted by the same Centre at JNU.

Fluent in Arabic, Urdu, English, Hindi, and Japanese, Dr. Hamza brings a rare blend of linguistic expertise and scholarly depth. Professionally, he has served in roles such as Senior Advisor, Project Associate, Research Assistant, and Senior Arabic Editor, contributing to academic editing, multilingual content development, and translation. He is currently exploring academic and research opportunities in India - Delhi NCR and in the Gulf region, particularly in Qatar, KSA and the United Arab Emirates.
