Abigail Tucker
@abigailtucker
Environmental scientist focused on aquatic ecology, water-quality research, and community conservation.
What I'm looking for
I am an environmental scientist with hands-on experience in aquatic ecology, field sampling, and laboratory analyses focused on water quality across North Carolina watersheds.
At UNCW's Aquatic Ecology Lab I led field sampling campaigns, collected in-situ measurements with a YSI, and performed chlorophyll analyses and ecological data management to monitor algal blooms and watershed health.
I combine strong community engagement—organizing tree-planting events and coordinating with county planning—with practical propagation experience in greenhouse and rare-plant care, bringing both scientific rigor and outreach skills to conservation roles.
