Abhinav Syal

I am a hands-on mechanical engineer with practical experience in tool & die manufacturing, press tools, fixture design, and shop-floor operations. I built my technical foundation while completing a BTech degree and working full-time, demonstrating discipline and ownership.

As Assistant Manager - R&D, I have led end-to-end engineering projects, designed SPM machines to increase production speed, and coordinated with production teams to meet quality, timeline, and cost goals. I am proficient in CAD tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD and regularly create and modify mechanical drawings.

My shop-floor background includes press tool design and maintenance, fixture design, PLC programming basics, and hands-on use of lathes, milling, CNC, grinders, and measuring instruments. I have supported mold and press tool trials and managed die documentation and storage processes.

I focus on bridging design intent with real-world production requirements, continually improving processes, and ensuring parts meet quality standards. I communicate effectively across teams and bring practical problem-solving to manufacturing environments.
